Hi everyone. I am organising walking tours in Antalya Oldtown as one of remained local living in oldtown for more than 15 years. Oldtown is complicated but no worries, at the end of the walking, you will feel like local! Of course history is the most important part of the walking but I will show you the hidden streets.unique houses & its architecture, places where locals go and how was the oldtown when it was a neighbourhood! Join me for for experiencing the Oldtown walking as a local, not a tourist!

Hi everyone,

This walking tour is organized by a remained local person in Antalya-Oldtown (Kaleiçi) for people who visit at least for the first time!

With this walking your, we will show you that Oldtown is not only a touristic / commercial place to visit but it is also part of the city life for the locals in this city.

History will be main topic for most of the monuments but we will show you hidden streets that maybe you will never walk again, will talk about the Oldtown houses which are under protection and details about the unique architecture.

After the tour is finished, you will know the history of Antalya, you will see how Islamic empires settled without destroying Christian monuments, you will feel orientated in this complicated Oldtown, and most importantly you will know where to spend time without worrying about tourist traps or scam situation.

Important Information:

The meeting point is outside the Schiller coffee, just after entering to the Oldtown through Hadrian's Gate. Please note that the exact timing may vary due season and indoor availabilities.
To help you recognize me, I will be wearing black headphones.
Please try tp arrive 10-15min in advance so we do not have to rush.
Minimum tip is considered as 10$/€ in these type of free walking tours, depending on your satisfaction and budget.

The most significant landmark in the city, Hadrian's Gate, holds a central position that cannot be overlooked. Our meeting point will be right next to the Schiller Cofffee, once you enter to the Oldtown through the Hadrian's Gate. To make it easier for you to identify me, I will be wearing black headphones and enjoying a cofee, sitting at the Schiller Coffee shortly before our scheduled meeting time.

Schiller Hadrian's Gates(3 Kapılar) Antalya

This is going to be our meeting point, I will be next to this place where you can see Hadrian's gate clearly. I will also tell you about the historical brief of the city next to the coffee shop. This part will be the longest briefind including the Hadrians gate, so please be patient :)

Hadrian's gate will be one of the most important monument that we will talk about. The most originally remained main entrance to the Oldtown built by Roman empire in 2AD.

This mosque will be our first indoor mosque visit which used to be a church in Christian period.
