Free walking tours in Thessaloniki

The whole experience was great all the way! The path that our guide Giorgos had chosen for us was excellent (who was a super nice and interesting person; I 'll elaborate more following). We saw many different and interesting areas of the city, while we got to hear all about it, the history, the different people and important figures that passed through over the years, the importance of certain places and areas, historically and culturally. We also got great suggestions in the sense of restaurants and place to eat good and as locals, which is really important to have in your vacation, so an extra thank you to Giorgos for making sure that we got extra information on that front as well. Additionally, Giorgos went out of his way and devoted extra time on explaining and showing us a few more places, based on the interest that the younger member of our group showed. And that was really nice to see, despite the fact that we learnt a whole bunch of extra things, the effort and the willingness to go the extra mile, was really nice to see, and we really appreciated that as well. So whoever is hovering to choose a guide and a tour, Giorgos is your guy, hands down!
