I am María, guru from Logroño and I want to welcome you to this incredible city, which is also the capital of La Rioja.
If you are looking for a fun and enjoyable tour, you have just found it. For 1 hour and 30 minutes we will visit the most important places in Logroño, we will discover a bit of its history, we will meet the characters who left their mark here, we will talk about witchcraft and the Camino de Santiago and its curiosities. In addition, we will visit the most emblematic monuments of the city and much more!
We will begin the tour next to the Revellín Wall, a symbol of the fortress of the people of Logroño. We will continue through the Church of Santiago el Real and the Tablero de la Oca where we will discover its secret origin.
We will see other churches such as the Church of Santa María de Palacio and the Church of San Bartolomé with its incredible façade and the history it tells us.
We will continue along Calle Portales , where one of the most shocking episodes for the city took place: the auto-da-fé of the Zugarramurdi Witches.
We will arrive at the Plaza del Mercado where we will finish the tour discovering the Co-Cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda and something very special that it hides inside.
And of course... we'll talk about Rioja wine !
