Free walking tours in Aix-en-Provence

We enjoyed learning about the history of Aix and enjoyed strolling the beautiful historic streets with Eva. It was a great way to start our stay. She gave us some good recommendations for markets, eateries and local specialties.

Very nice tour! I was the only person booked and even though I offered to cancel, Edouard insisted on doing the tour anyway. It was incredibly informative and he seems really passionate about the city. I had a wonderful time. Thanks, Edouard!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Edouard. In addition to learning the history of Aix en Provence, we gained a deep sense of the culture of life here through the sharing Edouard provided us about his own life here and elsewhere. We deeply appreciated his openness and friendly style that conveyed much more than facts, and left us with a sense of connection and warmth. It’s a beautiful town to meander through, but the tour gave us a much greater sense of place and orientation on our first visit here. Highly recommend this guide!

Edouard was an excellent guide-entertaining, informational, easy to interact with and told interesting historical facts and stories that made the tour more memorable. Everyone stayed in the group and appeared to be engaged and appreciative. We really appreciate his recommendation to visit Chateau LaCoste! We loved it and it made our Sunday. Thanks, Edouard!
