Explore Copenhagen's trendiest neighborhood with us on a 2-hour walking tour, led by a local expert. During the tour, you will visit some of the locals' favorite places and find out how the local community deals with social issues in Denmark on a day-to-day basis.

Alternative Copenhagen Tour: THE DARKEST DENMARK starts at Espresso House Rådhuspladsen and ends in the Meatpacking District. You will discover from the hand of a local expert a Copenhagen very different from the historical center and away from the most popular attractions . During the tour, you will hear the story of a completely different world that questions the social, political and cultural status.

We will take you to explore the underground scene of Copenhagen, walking through the red light district of Vesterbro. We will tell you its interesting history, from its origins as a working-class neighborhood to the present day. You'll learn why this neighborhood has become home to many young artists and entrepreneurs, and you'll get to see the eclectic mix of residents in the area after recent renovations.

During the tour, you will also visit some of Vesterbro's main attractions, walk along Istedgade and learn how it has evolved over the last 100 years.
And of course, we will take you to the area of the old slaughterhouse: Kødbyen , where you will find trendy shops, bars and cafes that will delight even the most hipsters. Join us to discover a different and exciting side of Copenhagen!
