Miguel was an absolutely fantastic guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Barcelona’s history and culture. The itinerary was perfectly designed to take you through Barcelona’s history, showing how different events and periods connect to one another and linking that history to the buildings and places you see throughout the city. Miguel also shared so many fascinating details and stories that I never would have discovered simply by walking around on my own. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!

I highly recommend taking this tour with Miguel. It was fascinating to hear some of the unconventional history and learn about the fierce Catalonian spirit that is still alive today. Miguel is a wonderful academic and storyteller and I really enjoyed being taken to see some of the underbelly of Barcelona's past.

Miguel super majo y maravilloso guia, nos hizo incluso el tour mas largo de lo que era y se fue adaptando a nuestras necesidades parando en fuentes o tiendas si teniamos sed, o colocarnos en lugares con sombra. Volveria a tenerlo como guia!!

Une walking tour incroyable qui permet de mieux comprendre les évènements et enjeux de la guerre civile espagnol, en particulier à Barcelone ! J'ai beaucoup apprécié la pédagogie de la guide qui arrive à capter l'attention du groupe tout au long, son naturel et sa rigueur historique. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé le fait qu'elle intègre les différentes positions qu'on pu occuper les femmes pendant la guerre !!! Je recommande à 100%%%%

We got to see parts of Barcelona we hadn’t already explored ourselves and from a very grounded and historical perspective. Es un tour muy recomendable para conocer la historia político social de Barcelona, la organización social y la luchas de la clase obrera, los orígenes de la. Semana trágica de Barcelona, de la CNT, como fue la guerra civil en Cataluña, etc. Más allà de su arquitectura, de Gaudí y del barrio gótico es bonito llevarse un poco de la historia alternativa y real de la gente que hizo la historia menos turistica

Hicimos el free tour de la Guerra Civil en Barcelona y nos gustó mucho. Muchas gracias a Donato, nuestro guía, se notaba que sabe muchísimo sobre todo ese periodo y lo explicaba todo muy bien y con mucha claridad. Sin duda, muy recomendable!

Hicimos el tour de la guerra civil con David y nos encantó! El detalle y el conocimiento con el que hablaba nos hizo acercarnos a la comprensión de una etapa historica muy compleja (sobre todo aquí en BCN). Valoró las participaciones del resto del grupo, lo cual enriqueció aún más el recorrido. Nos sentimos muy agradecidos de que nos tocase como guía y le recomendaremos para las futuras visitas de familiares o amigos.
