However, as a local resident with deep roots in the city, my tour is designed to foster cultural exchange and provide insights into various aspects such as general knowledge, cultural practices, and nature. Furthermore, I'm happy to adapt the tour to include an exciting road trip through canyons and/or mountains if that's your preference.

While "Visit Berat" may seem like a large company, it is actually a one-man project that started in 2012 as a gift to the city. To generate some income, I am now offering free tour guides. By booking my services, you are supporting a small local family.

The tour is initially planned for a duration of 2 hours, but it can extend up to 4 hours if we choose to explore the entirety of Berat. Whether we continue for the full duration is entirely up to you, as I am personally comfortable with the longer timeframe.

We'll start our tour by exploring a bustling pedestrian area filled with shops, cafes, and more. From there, we'll make our way up to the city center to admire Berat's famous mosque and the largest church in the area. For those interested, we can also take a deeper dive into the local culture by visiting areas where the locals live, work, and socialize.

Free tours don't have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end the amount they consider appropriate (amounts usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
