Free walking tour Luxembourg Centre-Ville
Tour description
Welcome to the heart of Luxembourg city, where you'll discover an exquisite mix of fascinating palaces, stunning squares, UNESCO heritage sites, and much more.
My guided tour of Luxembourg Center will take you on a journey through the city's most prominent landmarks, renowned for their wealth and charming heritage.
Join us at the meeting point, Gare Luxembourg, at 2pm to kick off your midday-long adventure. My circular system tour will cover a distance of 4-6 km, with an easy-medium level of difficulty that requires a bit of physical resistance. The tour duration is estimated to be 3 hours.
You'll have the opportunity to visit some of the most iconic places in Luxembourg, including the Grand Ducal Palace, the official residence of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, located in the town's core. The Chambre de Deputées, representing the building of Luxembourg's parliament, where the legislative power vests, and the Palace de Clairefontaine, rebuilt in the '80s and named after a shelter belonging to the abbey of Clairefontaine near the Belgian border.
Discover the Chemin de la Corniche, also known as "the most beautiful balcony of Europe", running along the Alzette valley on the ramparts built by the Spaniards and the French in the 17th century. Admire the viaducts and different urban lifts of Luxembourg Center and much, much more.
To make the most of your tour, we recommend wearing hiking clothing and shoes adapted to the season. Don't forget to bring water and an individual snack, such as sandwiches, fruit, or energy bars, to keep your energy levels up during the tour.
Please note that the tour is not wheelchair accessible, but it is close to public transport. The tour is suitable for individuals aged 16 years and above.
Join us on our guided tour of Luxembourg Center and experience the city's rich history and culture like never before!
