It has been said that he was one of the greatest heroes in history, it has also been stated that he was a traitor who sold his king in exchange for money, and it has even been said that he was a bloody mercenary. What is true in all these statements?
With this free tour we will learn about the legendary events that this illustrious medieval knight carried out. In addition, we will visit parts of the city of Burgos that may go unnoticed on a typical guided tour, but that hold a lot of history and legend linked to the Cid.

In Plaza Mio Cid, next to the main façade of the Teatro Principal de Burgos and the urban bus stop. The guide will carry a green umbrella.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
