Free tour Alternative Faults 2023

At a point where the old metaphysical debate about the conception of art is born, is this tour in which we will see failures, mostly modest, that share some differential artistic elements of the tradition , but maintaining other substantial ones. Its characteristics are design, ecology, denunciation, encouraging reflection and they are, of course, ephemeral.

We are talking about Alternative and Experimental Failures. For eight years I have been doing this tour, where we review those faults that, due to their ecological characteristics, social denunciation or artistic components where design and originality prevail, we can classify as "different".

We will begin the trip at the IVAM, where we will visit the exhibition: Alfredo Ruiz: "Roads to modernity in the faults". This artist is an essential reference to understand this type of faults.

Later, we will begin a tour through the streets of the Barrio del Carmen and the Botanical, looking for this type of monument and explaining (or at least trying to) its meaning and most outstanding characteristics.
