Tour description

Gjirokaster Free Walking tour is a 2 hours tour organised by certified guides.
Will be a pleasure to show you the amazing stone city of Gjirokaster focusing on it's history, culture, architecture, traditions, and funny local histories.

We will see the most interesting parts of the city like the Bazzar and Palorto area where are located the Ethnographic Museum (House of the Dictator), Ismail Kadare House, Scenduli House and some of the most impressive ottoman time villas. After it we will walk around the castle but we will not visit the castle inside as it has a price for tickets and we want to let people chose if visiting and when visiting it by themselves. The tour ends near the castle so you can go right after it if you want. We gone walk through panoramic spots to in a way that you get best pictures of Gjirokaster and yourself if you like to :)
Feel free to join us!
( Want to add the the tour is recommended for people with good health conditions as Gjirokaster is hilly)
