Hi I am Jorge! I am a journalist with 20 years of experience in radio and television, curious and attentive to the symbols of a key place from a geopolitical point of view from its foundation to this day. I love my city and I love to share what I know about it with each new visitor. Some song will accompany our tour and also information about Montevidean mysteries.

Tour description

From the place where the first fort was installed in the 1700s to control access along the Río de la Plata to the heart of South America, passing through the remains of the wall of a city invaded several times, to the multicultural port capital that is cradle of "candombe" and "tango" music.
Art, history, architecture, beaches, parks and customs in the capital of Uruguay. A city that was baptized as "the Atenas del Plata" or "the Switzerland of America." Montevideo, a unique and universal place. An enclave of geopolitical and strategic importance.

On the itinerary, we will visit some of the main highlights of the city, such as:

  • Zabala Square
  • Metropolitan Cathedral
  • Sarandi Pedestrian
  • Solis Theater
  • Salvo Palace

During the tour, I will be happy to answer all your questions. I will love to share with you my culture and memories, as well as the best kept secrets that some locals don't even know.

I'm waiting to accompany you and make you take away a memorable memory of my city!
