Free walking tour The Göbeklitepe old town

Fetih was a great guide. We are not “tour types” by nature, but my family and I really enjoyed this casual tour with Fetih. After traveling for a few weeks on our own, it was wonderful to have an English speaking guide to show us around, explain things about the city and culture, and answer our questions. He made a few great suggestions for coffee and food we would never have found on our own. It was just what we needed!

Great tour with Mehmet - visited all the key places in Urfa, including the Cave of Prophet Ibrahim as well as the Fish Lake and old city markets. Mehmet also provided a tour to Harran (on a seperate day) showing the well of Prophet Yaqub (Jacob), the old Islamic University in Harran as well as the old beehive houses which were interesting. We also visited (at my request) the village of Eyupnebi which reportedly contain the tombs of Prophet Ayyub (and his wife) and Prophet Iliyas. Would definitely recommend.

Fatih gave me a personal walking tour as I was the only one. He is knowledgeable about the history and places to shop and eat. He took time after the our to have lunch and a coffee. Thanks so much.

This guide provided a well-informed and interesting tour. The places visited and information included were relevant and helped a great deal in understanding some of the Urfa culture and history. Mehmet Fatih was mindful of my needs and very accomodating. Despite the fact that there was only one person on the tour (me), and that he was not in the best of health he honoured his commitment with full enthusiasm and professionalism.
