Tour description

A tour of Barranco's three residential boardwalks and each of its eight parks and mansions, each with its own history and interesting features. Visitors can enjoy the angles of the cliffs at each stop, overlooking the beaches of the Costa Verde circuit, both south and north.

The route will begin in the neighboring "Bicentenario" Park in Miraflores as a reference point for what will be previously walked, crossing the Arméndariz ravine over the Reducto Bridge, but not before looking towards the bordering Barranco cliff that leads to the final descent of the extensive Lima Expressway .
At the entrance of the tour you will be able to see the front of the Museum of Contemporary Art (former Barranco Zoo), the Family Park and the "Heroes" Park near the Malecón Paul Harris, reaching the halfway point at the Alameda Saenz Peña del Malecón Souza , continuing along the " Malecón de los Ingleses" Park to finally reach the emblematic Bridge of Sighs , Bajada de Baños, the central park of Barranco and its surroundings.
[ NOTE: 10 additional optional points of visit will be included when choosing or extending within the total route completed to the Beaches or Malecón Grau de Chorrillos, please read the Itinerary list]

At some points in the Parks, the Malecones and the Alameda Sáenz Peña there will be a few brief minutes of pause and rest to hydrate, eat a snack, *Have breakfast/have a coffee/taste chocolates, liquors (*only at "la Espiga de Oro" or "Dédalo" ) and to go to the bathroom (in some cases available/with prior notice) so it is recommended to be a good walker for an optimal and healthy tour of approximately 4 hours of pure tourist satisfaction and a unique experience in the breeze of the sea air above the sea.

REMEMBER, dear travelers, that this tour recommends wearing good walking shoes for comfortable walking. Not all of the Urban City Tour will be a constant 4-hour walk. Rest periods of 5 to 10 minutes will be divided, including breaks for breakfast/lunch/dinner along the route, for 30 to 40 minutes. This same process will also apply to the other urban sightseeing tours I offer on GURU WALK, such as "Visiting the 4 Miraflores Seafront Boardwalks," "San Isidro, from the Olive Grove to the Pear of Love and the Sea," and especially "Four-Hundred-Year-Old Lima (1935 - 1535): From the Residential Fenced Yard to the Plaza Mayor."

On this tour, the itinerary and start times can be modified/customized at the traveler's request on the same day without having to cancel the Urban City Tour at the last minute. Senior travelers or adults with children can be picked up from their accommodations and taken directly to the meeting point via UBER or public transportation, provided it is located in Barranco or in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro.
