Tour description

Hey, do you fancy travelling back in time ?

2,000 years ago, on the banks of the Ebro, Zaragoza was born, an ancient city and through its streets and monuments, we will discover stories , anecdotes and characters often unknown even to Zaragozans .

If you choose us, you will walk through the most charming streets of one of the largest protected historic centres in Spain with the help of two locals (and official tourist guides).
The best way to discover Zaragoza, in a pleasant and close way!

The journey begins:

  • Next to the sculpture in Plaza Sinués (behind the Teatro Principal and next to the silver sculpture), from there to the Roman city there is only one step; we will go to the Roman Theatre of Caesaraugusta, a silent witness of all the eras of this city.

  • Do you know what the Aragonese Mudejar style (a World Heritage Site) has to do with Zaragoza's Muslim past? We'll tell you about it in the Cathedral of El Salvador and the Magdalena Tower.

  • Between cathedrals we will cross the most Renaissance area where we will see the royal master's house, the Argillo Palace and the exchange . Two examples of the more than 200 palaces that this city once had!

  • And we arrived at the Pilar, a huge square and a huge basilica that was hard to get around because of its size and the amount of heritage and history it hides. The place where Roman Zaragoza meets modern Zaragoza.

  • We will finish the tour in modernist Zaragoza, visiting its charming squares such as the Justicia square and its most famous shopping street, Alfonso I.

This tour is perfect for both Zaragozans who want to discover more of their city, and for tourists who want to make the most of their trip.
