I am Diego Barrios Canora, creator of a small tourism company (Barrios de Madrid). My love for the city I live in, the country where I was born, and the history, art and culture of both, has been the engine that drove the development of this project. Narraremos las horas decisivas en las que el pueblo de Madrid se levantó contra el invasor, contra la Grande Armée, contra el ejército imperial de Napoleón Bonaparte.
Además, explicaremos la opinión de militares y civiles con respecto a la ocupación francesa: ¿quiénes fueron los afrancesados, unos traidores o unos idealistas? ¿Fue el 2 de mayo un acto planificado o espontáneo?
