Tour description

Looking to explore the famous port of Liverpool in a dazzling and engaging guided tour? With a local "lad?"

I'm a native of Liverpool - "a Scouser" - and feel I can relay to all our visitors the energy, passion, creativity, fiercely individual spirit and warmth that our great city and her people are famed for.

Our tour will start at Liverpool Lime Street station - a Central gateway to the city - and end in the dramatic and elegant surroundings of St John's Gardens and the majesty of St. George's Hall.
We'll take in more than 25 landmarks and places of interest - awe-inspiring cathedrals, haunted tombs, cutting-edge street art, Beatles and the Mersey-beat legacy, Chinatown, hidden WW2 bases, extraordinary architecture, movie and TV locations....and more!
As we travel around the city for approximately two-and-a-half hours, I'll provide you with a wealth of knowledge, hidden history and anecdotes.
There will be fascinating "now and then" images I can present to my tour group, giving a great insight to the past and present of the city.
The will be countless fantastic photo opportunities during the tour with me pointing out the best vantage points.
The opportunity to learn our unique local dialect - "Scouse".
Recommendations of places to go such as the best bars/restaurants/entertainment etc - who better than a local to advise you?
Live singing (I'm told I have the voice of an angel...)

I'll be standing just inside the front entrance of Liverpool Lime Street station (at the top of the steps by the glass doors). I will be the impossibly handsome guy in the backwards baseball cap with the cool shades wearing the blue MERSEYSTRIDER branded hoody!!

How much does this tour cost?

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end the amount they consider appropriate (amounts usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
