One might think that Manchester is all about football, but there is actually so much more to discover in this amazing city.
This is where the Industrial Revolution began; the home of many social movements such as Las Sufragistas ; the place where the Communist Manifesto was written and the city where more than 25 Nobel Prize winners studied.
Here you will find the First English Public Library in the World. You will be able to see the remains of the First Passenger Train Station that opened in 1830.
Manchester is also a place to discover great music and big names like Joy Division, The Smiths and Oasis . Its underground bars and famous clubs like La Hacienda changed the music scene.
The city is thriving lately with more students than ever enjoying the great University of Manchester and everywhere we look we see new independent bars, shops and cafes bringing a unique feel to the city. I am very curious about this city and would love to share my thoughts and the stories I learned here with you.
