Free tour Archaeological Dolmens of Antequera
Tour description
Learn about Prehistory by visiting the famous Antequera Dolmens Archaeological Complex, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016 due to the importance given to the three megalithic structures that make it up: The Viera Dolmen, the Tholos del Romeral, and the Menga Dolmen, the largest in the Iberian Peninsula and built approximately 6,000 years ago.
Enjoy a free tour of the Antequera Dolmens Archaeological Ensemble led by professionals in Archeology and Art History, in a fun and didactic way.
The 1:30 a.m. visit will consist of:
1. Reproduction of a brief audiovisual where they will explain the construction hypothesis of the Dolmen de Menga.
2. Introduction and visit to the Site Museum.
3. Visit to the monuments of enclosure 1: Dolmen de Viera and Dolmen de Menga.
- The visit begins at the Site Museum, where it is essential to collect the tickets (free of charge) to gain access to the monuments.
- The visit ends in the Parking of the Archaeological Ensemble.
- Learn about Prehistory like never before, with family, friends or alone and discover one of the treasures of the city of Antequera.

The Dolmenes de Antequera Archaeological Ensemble conducts free guided tours on weekends with prior reservation. We present these guided tours so that you do not miss the opportunity to visit the monuments with a quality explanation outside of their offered hours.
