Tour description

For private tours in Podgorica and across Montenegro, contact me on my IG profile @podgoricaguide

If no schedules are available for the selected date, please contact me. Maybe someone won’t come but didn’t cancel.

If you need to cancel your booking, please try to do so at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations make it hard for other walkers who plan ahead and might miss out on the tour because of unavailable spots. Thanks for understanding!

The tour starts in the oldest part of Podgorica city, in front of the Clock Tower, on the side looking at the clock, at Becir Beg Osmanagic Square.

As we walk along the narrow streets of “Old Varosh,” you will see essential monuments and townhouses and learn more about the old part of the city, its medieval ramparts, and the old bridge at the confluence of two rivers.
I will tell you some exciting stories from the Ottoman period to the latest history.

The tour ends in front of the Fountain at Independence Square. The tour takes 2 hours and 15 min. And I stay some extra minutes for all your burning questions.

Additional Information:

The tour includes walking on stairs, but nothing strenuous. Choose walking shoes/sneakers that perform equally well in changing weather conditions. Also, don’t forget to bring water and a hat/sunscreen during summer. I’ll try to find some shade, though :)

IMPORTANT:

Minimum participants: 2 people. If this number is not reached the tour might be cancelled.

The tour will be called off if a hailstorm or heavy rain causes street flooding along the route or makes it unsafe due to hail stones.

- During the summer, the tour will be canceled if the temperature exceeds 38° Celsius.
