Welcome to Zaragoza! We are ZaragozaTours, a young local company born by the banks of the Ebro river. In our tours our intention is to make you a participant of the history, art, culture and life of this city. We invite you to enjoy Zaragoza and its most spectacular cultural sites with the help of our tour guides. However, we won't stop at the surface, we will go further in order to unravel all Zaragoza's secrets in an entertaining and educational way.
Zaragoza has many mysteries hidden from most of its inhabitants. Truculent stories of love and death, great tragedies that marked the lives of its citizens and even paranormal events . Join us to discover them with the help of a local historian to see the other side of the city.
Our tour will begin at sunset, when the shadows and stories give life to the buildings that tell them. We will walk through the old scaffold of Zaragoza , where the gallows and the Inquisition imposed order since the Middle Ages. We will reveal who the murderers of the crime that was committed in the cathedral are and the pact that one of its priests made with the Devil himself. We will remember the thousands of lives that were taken by Napoleon's army and where the heroes of Zaragoza ended up. We will descend into hell through a pit that has no end and that has engulfed the lives of the people of Zaragoza and, sadly, continues to do so. We will tell the stories of lovers who could not continue their romance and we will discover the feminine side of the city thanks to the stories of women who faced their destiny and fought for their freedom . We cannot forget the most terrifying and paranormal events that put all Zaragoza residents in suspense in the 20th century. XX, voices that came from unexpected places and a hotel room where you don't sleep a wink.
As if that were not enough, you will have incredible views of the illuminated Basilica del Pilar and other monuments, so I recommend bringing your camera to take photos as incredible as the ones we show you here.
The guide will be next to the door of the Pablo Gargallo Museum, in Plaza San Felipe, next to the sculptures of two horsemen. You will be able to recognize the guide by the logo of our company on his t-shirt and umbrella, a red Z on a white background.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
