Tour description
Modern Madrid or the Madrid of the Bourbons, the historic old town lies in the idyllic area of the meadow, where the market flows into the city through the orchards.
A monastery was built here in the 16th century, and the Habsburgs then built a castle (which has not survived to this day). The half-enclosed garden is currently available as a park for relaxation, which is a pleasant surprise. The Bourbon ruler, known as Carlos III, increased the city's wealth and built the Paseo del Prado with its fountains, triumphal arch and surrounding Prado Museum, one of the most important art museums in the world. Come and explore part of Madrid with a panoramic ride on board a rickshaw (only for 2 people) accompanied by a friendly city manager.
