Free Tour Museum and Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela

Guided tour of the Cathedral Museum and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela that focuses on the history of the Cathedral and the tomb of the Apostle, the heart of the city that bears his name. We are official guides authorized by the Cabildo of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela to carry out these visits.

The tour begins by visiting the Cathedral museum. For this, the entrance fee for access to it will be previously charged. Prices are based on the Cathedral Chapter Rate, which ranges between €4 and €6 depending on age or if you are a pilgrim, retiree or student.

Tickets to the museum are mandatory for the visit and must be paid by each client.

We will tour with the guide authorized by the Cabildo the different floors and rooms where we will see works of art from the 13th and 14th centuries, the Renaissance cloister, the Chapel of Relics, the Chapter Library with incalculable writings such as the Codex Calixtino... and many other treasures that can only be seen by visiting the museum. We will be amazed by the majesty of the Baroque altar with the image of the seated Apostle in the center of the 13th century. * Punctuality is important. Reservations for visits will be held for 5 minutes after the start of the visit. Once this time has elapsed, the places will be released for the waiting list.

* In the case of not attending, it is requested and appreciated that the reservation be canceled or communicated so that the guide is not waiting and does not make the rest of the attendees wait.

* Reservations of more than 6 people in the same group of friends/family are not allowed . In case of making separate reservations for a group larger than 6 people, the guide can reject the attendees at the same meeting point.
