Tour Description – “See Naples and Then Return”
“See Naples and Then Return” is a tour designed to give you an authentic and unforgettable experience in the vibrant heart of the city. I will accompany you to discover one of the oldest and most fascinating historical centers in Europe, a place where history, art, traditions, and flavors intertwine in a unique atmosphere.
We will start from Piazza Dante, an elegant gateway to the ancient center, and then delve along the famous Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in two and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Here I will tell you stories, legends, anecdotes, and guide you among monumental churches, ancient palaces, and irresistible street food aromas.
We will cross Piazza del Gesù Nuovo and its namesake church, notice the beauty of the Basilica of Santa Chiara, and reach the elegant Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, the lively heart of the historic center.
We will walk through energy-filled alleys to the evocative Piazzetta Nilo, with the historic statue of the Nile, and then pass in front of the Purgatorio ad Arco, a place steeped in popular spirituality.
One of the most anticipated moments will be entering the lively San Gregorio Armeno, the street of nativity scenes and Neapolitan craftsmanship par excellence, a true open-air workshop that fascinates all year round.
Continuing along Via dei Tribunali, among traditions, shops, and typical flavors, we will also admire the famous Banksy mural, one of the most photographed urban works in Naples.
Our journey will conclude at the majestic Duomo of Naples, where San Gennaro, the city's patron saint, is kept. Here the tour ends... and the desire to return will probably already begin.
