Tour description

Discover the city from its Islamic origin to becoming an internationally famous winery city accompanied by an official accredited tourist guide!

Art, culture and tradition combine through the streets of Jerez with aromas of wine and orange blossom .
We will begin our itinerary in the Plaza del Arenal , the scene of duels and battles, games and equestrian shows, where we will also show you one of the most charming corners of the Historic Center of Jerez, which one? You will discover it on the tour. We will head towards one of the most traditional neighborhoods in the city, the flamenco neighborhood of San Miguel to admire its magnificent temple , to continue towards the oldest monument in the city, our Alcázar , an Almohad fortress where we will tell you its history and curiosities. We will stop to see the Bodegas Tío Pepe weather vane (possibly the largest in the world) and the monument to the winery's founder. We will continue our itinerary through another of the most representative historical buildings of the city, the Cathedral , built next to the space occupied by the Great Mosque. Do you know how its construction was completed? We will continue our walk through the Plaza del Arroyo to contemplate beautiful wine palaces . We will arrive at the 16th century Old Town Hall , next to the Church of the Patron , the Watchtower Tower, we will pass through charming squares of which we will tell you about their origin and curiosities, some of great importance in medieval times, others surrounded by orange trees and palaces of winery families with interesting stories. We will tell you anecdotes and the origin of unique and curious buildings related to the wine industry, such as the emblematic Gallo Azul building or the Tabancos . And what better way to end our tour than by visiting some magnificent 15th century cloisters that will leave you surprised. (Mondays closed).
