Hervás, a town nestled in a unique setting, surrounded by mountains belonging to the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos , a unique history, from its Templar origin to the Jewish settlement during the 14th and 15th centuries.
A Jewish Quarter that is part of the Network of Jewish Quarters of Spain or the Roads of Sepharad, a unique walk, without rushing, enjoying this Historic-Artistic Complex , but this free tour takes place at sunset so that the last rays of the sun guide us and make this experience something even more special.
A tour from the highest part of Hervás, the Church of Santa María de Aguas Vivas , an old Templar fortification, to enter a network of streets where it is easy to get lost, a place of coexistence between Christians and Jews , to go down to the Ambroz River and observe its medieval bridge presided over by the illustrious knight Alonso Sánchez Montero, we will end our walk at the Church of San Juan Bautista, a jewel of Extremaduran Baroque.
