Free Tour of the gardens and fountains of the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso

Do you want to discover the most famous gardens and fountains in Spain? Did you know that the “little Versailles” is located in the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso?
A 140-hectare natural paradise worthy of the 1st Bourbon, Philip V and Queen Isabel de Farnesio, which will take us through the world of classical mythology and the most impressive water features in the country.
Through an open-air tour, children and adults will discover the myths and the reasons for impressive aquatic sculptures , while we walk for 2-2.5 hours from the main entrance, among gardens, elms, horse chestnuts, linden trees, ... and even a natural labyrinth.
The Jungle, the horse race, the new waterfall, La Fama, Diana's Bath and up to 26 colossal fountains that surprise and entertain everyone while we breathe the pure air of the mountains of Valsain, Peñalara,...
Oh! And 3 days a year, on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting in Spring, prepare to get wet with a bit of luck, as several fountains are put into operation.
We will be transported to a world of heroes, gods and goddesses who will make us follow their stories and mythological feats while we do healthy exercise and enjoy the nature of Segovia.
