Essential tour in Old Panama City - Free Tour
Tour description
Welcome to the Old City of Panama known as the Old Town.
We will begin the tour in the Plaza Mayor where we will visit buildings of greatest interest such as the Cathedral Church, one of the largest in the city, the Municipal Palace , the Hotel Central Panamá.
We will continue towards the convent of Santo Domingo, one of the most important ruins for its Flat Arch.
We will continue until we reach the Plaza de Francia where we will see monuments dedicated to the French for being the initiators of the construction of the Canal.
From there we will take a beautiful tour along Paseo Esteban Huerta where you will see the original wall from 1673. Also Cerro Ancón, the Bridge of the Americas , the Amador Islands , the ships waiting their turn to cross the Canal and our Modern City.
After this, we will continue through the Nuns bastion and continue to Plaza Bolívar where we will find the Ministry of Government connected to the National Theater , Church of San Francisco and Plaza Bolívar.
We will pass through the back of the Presidential Palace and where there is a restaurant, a restored and deteriorated house from the 19th century
We will continue to the Church of San José, much visited for its famous Golden Altar from 1610, from there we will continue to the ruins of the Company of Jesus and we will arrive at the point where we started.
