Over the centuries Edinburgh has become one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
We will get to know the history of this medieval city, which is over 3000 years old, from the first tribes that populated it, the Picts, to the famous men in kilts! We will talk about some of Edinburgh's most important buildings, such as St. Giles Cathedral, and Edinburgh Castle. We will walk along its most well-renowned streets such as the Royal Mile and Victoria Street, to name but a few.
We'll pay a visit to the sculpture of Bobby, Scotland’s most loyal guard dog, located right outside Greyfriars cemetery, where many mysteries and legends are hidden amongst the tombstones, and perhaps even some paranormal activity! Parts of the Harry Potter books were written in Edinburgh and their writer, JK Rowling, used the graveyard as a source of inspiration. Join us to discover where she wrote and what she used to influence her novels.
With so many centuries of history, the capital of Scotland is rich in both history and legends. You cannot miss this incredible visit to Edinburgh!
