The market is famous for the large quantity and variety of items that are sold at low cost. The tianguis is installed every Thursday and Sunday, it is the source of employment for more than 3,000 families and 85 percent of the merchants live in the area.
The market began its history with chatterboxes, now it has become a flea market where hundreds of visitors flock to buy new and used items.
