Tour of the historic center of Lima + Pisco Sour tastings

On this tour we visit the most attractive and historical spots in the historic center of Lima. Discover the city of kings with a very passionate local guide who can provide you with a lot of information on your visit to the city of Ceviche and Pisco Sour.

• Points we will visit on the tour:

• Gran Hotel Bolívar (we will enter)
• San Martin Square
• Union Street (connects to the Plaza de Armas)
• O'Higgins House (optional)
• Church of La Merced
• We will visit the Plaza de Armas
• Post and telegraph office
• We will observe the changing of the guard (optional)
• House of Peruvian Literature
• Church of Santo Domingo (We will observe the skull of Saint Rose of Lima, the skull of Saint Martin de Porres and the crypt of Saint Juan Macias).
• We will visit the Chabuca Granda avenue where we will head towards the Trujillo bridge (stone bridge), which connects with the Rímac neighborhood.
• Church of Saint Francis of Assisi

Finally, we will have free tastings , where you can try different varieties of Peruvian Pisco and its multiple presentations; Pisco Sour classes are optional, which is why visitors will be asked if they want to taste or not.
You also have the option of telling the guide that you do not wish to taste pisco.

During the tour, we will explain how a Peruvian lives, which is why the tour guide will explain about typical dishes such as: Grilled chicken and how it is prepared, about Spanish churros, and will visit stalls (optional) where tourists can eat good, pretty and cheap food so that they can observe more, NOT! so that they buy.

Please note that the list of places on our itinerary is free access, so there is no need to worry about it. If the visitor wishes to visit museums such as the Cathedral and Catacombs on their own, they can do so at the end of the Walking Tour with us . Here I will give you the prices of these museums in case you wish to visit them on your own:

• Catacombs: 20 soles / 5 dollars

1. If you are staying in Miraflores, we recommend leaving early as traffic in the city of Lima is very crowded.
2. Remember to bring water for the walk through the historic center.
