Amazing experience! Ian was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, and passionate about Mexican food and culture. We tried delicious local dishes, visited places i would have never found on my own, and learned a lot about the city’s history. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City!

Very enjoyable time and lots to learn! Vegetarian options were limited, but did include mushrooms and cactus tacos. I was able to enjoy a delicious agua fresca tamarindo! Thankful for the fun activity!

We had a great time on this tour with Ian. He is very knowledgable on the food stalls, food culture and Mexico in general. We tried a wide variety of street foods and sweets during the tour. Highly recommend!

If you want to experience CDMX through its tacos, you absolutely have to book this tour! Our guide was incredible. His energy and dynamism made the time fly by; He has this perfect rhythm where you never feel rushed, but you're never bored for a second. Not only did he takes us to the best spots (authentic places I would have never found on my own), but the way he shared the history of each taco, the neighborhood culture, and the secrets of the salsas was so engaging and fun. You can tell they are truly passionate about what he does, and that vibe is contagious from minute one. I left incredibly full, happy, and ready to come back. 10/10 highly recommended!

Kaare combines his wonderful humour with his extensive and personal history of the area. His friendly and interactive guiding gives insights into the food, locals, culture and country’s history and development. His relationship with the vendors is endearing, and you get to experience more intimate and friendly interactions with the locals, asking questions and taking pictures along the way. He takes you through a great variety of food stops in different areas of the neighbourhood which gives you a chance to explore Mexican food outside of tacos. Save space for the second stop as the food is to die for! Happy to report that nobody on our tour had any problems with stomach aches too! Thank you so much to Kaare for giving us such an enjoyable and informative experience with the culture and people of Mexico!

Their deep knowledge of the cuisine and its history made the experience so much richer than just eating; we got real context behind every dish. They took us to incredible spots we never would have found on our own as tourists; true hidden gems. The evening was extremely well spent, blending great food with a fascinating overview of Mexican culture and history.
