Along the way you'll get up close to the Tower of London to recall the notorious King Henry VIII and his six wives and discover why Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard really lost their lives inside the Tower.
As you go you'll hear how Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up Parliament in the 'Gunpowder Plot', the devastation caused by the Black Death and the horrific crimes and intimidating power of London's most famous gangsters in the Kray Twins.
With the stories of historical figures including William Wallace (Braveheart) and Bloody Mary also included, this free walking tour of London gives you the chance to really explore London’s dark history and its mysterious past.

The tour starts outside the Starbucks at the Tower of London. This is located opposite the Tower of London gift shop. On arrival please look for your tour guide holding the yellow umbrella.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
