We will talk about the Inquisition and its autos de fe , but we will also discuss other topics such as the Templars, the School of Translators📚, women walled inside convents🧟♀️, the black plague🪦 and the legends of Toledo🔮. Also, so it doesn't get boring, we'll be telling anecdotes and curiosities 🧠 from the streets of Toledo
We begin the visit at the door of the clock of the Cathedral , ("chapinería street" nº1) talking about the famous street man of stick and the alleys of Hell and Devil . We will visit the first two headquarters of the Spanish Inquisition in the city and we will comment on some of the most important processes of sorcery and witchcraft in Toledo in the 17th century.
We will talk about the black plague next to the remains of one of the medieval baths in Toledo and we will tell you about some of the most important legends, explaining their historical significance and commenting on curiosities that go unnoticed by the untrained eye.
We will stop at the current headquarters of the School of Translators , we will visit the house of the Temple and we will stop at the sides of the convent of Santa Isabel to talk about the imprisonment of María Suarez de Toledo in a church in Toledo.
We will finish the visit in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, with one of the best photos that Toledo has, the Cathedral of Toledo. To end the tour we will tell you what it means to spend a night in Toledo.
