After several years of experience in the tourism sector working for one of the most important and well-known tour companies in Europe today, Hello Sevilla Tours begins. Two friends in Munich (Germany) deciding to return to their homeland had the idea of starting this project in order to continue dedicating themselves to their passion, which coincided with their work, so suitcase in hand arrived in the city of Seville after a year preparing the best service so that at the end of all our tours you can end up like another Sevillian. Hello Sevilla Tours, precisely, puts people in value and we try to ensure that all the tourists who accompany us can check it because we make sure that the experience of knowing a new city is as exciting and interesting as possible. That is our job and as we said at the beginning, that is our passion. Among our guides, collaborators and tourists we have a complete family that we would like you to be part of. Welcome to Hello Sevilla Tours!
A large part of the popular Sevillian ideology are the legends that have been passed from word to mouth through different generations and that make the history of Seville richer today.
On this 2-hour night tour we begin at the Las Setas monument, which has turned the Plaza de la Encarnación into one of the most striking contemporary spaces. At the Faculty of Fine Arts, the old Viada Hotel, the old Vilma warehouses and the Pathé Theater we will tell the most famous ghost stories in the city that have been the focus of attention in different magazines and programs on paranormal matters. This will be going down Calle Cuna, one of the most famous streets in the city center for housing the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija, an essential place to learn about Seville's Roman past through its mosaics.
Already in the Church of the Savior, we go back to the city's Muslim past, a legacy that we maintain today thanks to remains such as the patio of this church, which was neither more nor less than the first Main Mosque of the city. Furthermore, in this square we find the monument of one of the greatest Sevillian artists: Martínez Montañés, which will take us into Holy Week.
Crossing the Alfalfa neighborhood, full of anecdotes and curiosities, we arrive at the Cabeza del Rey Don Pedro. Protagonist of intrigues, disappointments and betrayals, this Castilian king went down in history for his two antagonistic nicknames: “the cruel” and “the vigilante.” We will see the reason for each nickname and we will discover its stone head hidden in one of the most labyrinthine streets in the center.
Arriving towards the Cathedral, we pass through Calle Mármoles, which leaves us another essential legacy: the Roman past of Híspalis. There, we will see the remains of one of the largest Roman temples that Seville had until we reach the British Institute, where one of the most famous ghost stories is also hidden.
In the church of Santa Cruz and Calle Mateos Gago we walk on the old wall of the Jewish quarter and end at the Cathedral, where we close the tour with curiosities about the third largest cathedral in the entire world.
They say that walking through Seville at night makes you discover a different charm in it. Don't miss it and come with us to the Free Night Tour.
What will we see?
We will discover these monuments illuminated at night and we will fall in love with the capital of Seville thanks to this night tour.
