We begin our tour at New Gate.
Inside the Old City of Jerusalem, we will visit the holiest site in Christianity – the Church of Resurrection.
We continue our path through the markets of the old city as we walk through parts of the Muslim quarter. The Cardo is an interesting place to stop by before heading south towards a prominent lookout of Mount of Olives and the Kidron Valley.
We walk down to dung Gate as we slowly start to see the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque appear in the distance. Enter the Western Wall Plaza then exit northwards – all while remaining in the Old City! We continue onto New Gate as we ascend the alleys of the Old City. If time permits, we shall also go up on the roof of the Austrian Hospice – This depends on prior planning through messages.
The Temple Mount is closed on Friday and Saturday; thus it is better to also pre-plan through messages about visiting it along with the rest of the program.
We will tour through the narrow and crowded alleys of the Old City , experiencing the agitation and aromas of everything around us: a truly unique sensation to experience.
I believe in the strength of the rhetoric and the subtlety of the narrative, not just in simply expressing the story. Each structure, each corner, each stone has its own story. My passion is to tell you that story!
