Do you want to do the best Tours in Scotland? Well this is your place. After several years working in the tourism sector for leading companies in different locations in the United Kingdom, I decided to embark on this adventure and create “We Are Scotland”, from where we carry out walking tours of Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This project is born from work, humility and experience in order to make people who visit Scotland feel part of its history and its legends, together with a team of experienced guides passionate about history who will make you want to return. to this wonderful country.
Glasgow is currently one of the most visited cities in the United Kingdom and not many decades ago it was one of the most important cities of the Industrial Revolution , although today only remnants of that past remain. Join us on this tour through the history of its streets and its people, its buildings and architecture, its stories and anecdotes , but, above all, join us to enjoy this adventure with the best guides in Glasgow .
Glasgow was a city of inventions and inventors, so we will talk about the most important ones, those who brought with them the Scottish Enlightenment of the 18th century. We will take a tour of the Industrial Revolution that took this metropolis to the top of the world , up to the most stately years of the Victorian era, where we will talk about one of its great architects: Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
We will walk along the banks of the River Clyde , the reason for this city's existence, and where we will discover hidden secrets , before heading to the old Tollbooth.
We will go up to Glasgow Cathedral , the oldest cathedral in Scotland , where we will tell the story of St. Mungo , the city's patron saint, and his miracles, ending at the top of its necropolis, with one of the best views of Glasgow.
Come with us!
For groups of more than 6 people, even if bookings are made separately, if you come together you will need to pay the guide £10 per person at the start of the tour.
I will be standing next to the equestrian sculpture of Queen Victoria in George Square with a BLACK UMBRELLA.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
