I was born and raised in Salamanca (Spain), where I lived until May 2013, at which point life took me to Copenhagen. Trained as a historian and high school teacher at the University of Salamanca, and later as a Hispanic Philologist at the University of Copenhagen. I have been working as a tour guide since April 2014, and experience has shown me that there is nothing like showing a city that you are in love with. Copenhagen is a fascinating city, with as many faces and as many edges as one is able to find it, and where there are options for all tastes. History, politics, mythology, religion, economics, anecdotes, sarcasm, humor, entertainment. All that and more I can offer when I show the city that I have been calling home since 2013. I don't know what you are waiting for to come and see this wonderful city from my hand.

Tour description

A tour of 2 hours-2 and a half hours to get to know Copenhagen. What better way than to do it by moving through its medieval historic center, talking about the history of Denmark through the oldest streets of its capital, making a review that lasts until today, while we see the main tourist attractions in the area where the hotel was located. The original port of the Danish capital around which this Scandinavian jewel was born and grew up. We will start our walk in the town hall square, the old southwestern limit of the city, and then walk the eastern part of medieval Copenhagen until we enter the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, passing through the most typical postcard of Copenhagen and ending in the royal palace of Amalienborg. Stories, anecdotes, free chocolate, great views, beautiful buildings, bicycles everywhere, and a guide ready to answer all questions and resolve all doubts. To start getting to know Copenhagen, there is no better option. What we see / talk about: - Copenhagen Town Hall Square - Tivoli - Medieval Copenhagen - Denmark, from the Vikings to today - Gammel Strand, the original port of Copenhagen - Christiansborg, the Danish Parliament palace - Absalon, the warrior priest - Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen epicenter - Hans Christian Andersen - Nyhavn, picture postcard port - Magasin du Nord, Copenhagen's luxury department store - Copenhagen Royal Theater - Amalienborg, royal residence - Marmorkirken, the marble church - Copenhagen New Opera ... and much more, as much as you want to ask! How does a free tour work? A free tour works like a reverse ticket office *. You first enjoy the service, and afterwards you decide how much money the guide you pay deserves for their work, for developing the tour, their knowledge and for what you have enjoyed in the way of sharing them with you. That is, because of the experience and everything that has made it possible. In this way, you ensure that you are going to receive the best possible service, since the economic success of the guide depends on its quality. * There is the possibility of making the reverse ticket payment by card at the end of the tour
