Hi! I’ve lived in this wonderful city of Bath for most of my life, including my university years. I’ve travelled the world and worked abroad too but Bath is exceptional, my forever home. You can walk amongst amazing architecture, and keep checking on the excellent eating, drinking, cultural and shopping treats. I’m a Guide because I’m proud of my city and I want everyone to share the hidden gems from our incredibly rich history, not just the main (also fantastic) tourist sites. Let’s walk together to explore how Bath developed from a cramped medieval town into one of the most elegant cities in the world. And see where and how Bridgerton was filmed! Insta: @WalknTalk_Bath

Tour description

Welcome to Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with every modern and historical delight - now made even more famous from the scenes of Bath in the Bridgerton Netflix series! Bath is one of the finest cities in Europe to explore on foot -  designed for promenading, excitement and luxury.

On this GuruWalk we go beyond the usual tourist spots and explore where the elegant Georgians strolled, danced, found love and lost fortunes in this oh-so fashionable city. You'll learn some surprising and shocking aspects of life two hundred years ago.

We'll pass many of the locations where Bridgerton was filmed and muse about how they covered the trappings of C21st Bath to look like 1821 London Mayfair!

The tour will take us to all the main highlights and also many hidden corners: - Bath Abbey - Roman Baths - The Cross Bath - the Medieval city wall - Pulteney Bridge -  Queen Square - The Assembly Rooms - The Circus - Royal Crescent - Beauford Square. We finish at The Theatre Royal, surrounded by wine bars and great places to eat.

Ps. If you’re not able to book a place because it’s showing Full, or the dates don't work for you, please contact me and we’ll see what’s possible...

Meanwhile, blowing my own trumpet and "being more Beau", here's what a happy walker sent to me recently, "Hi Louise, thank you for making the walking tour so special! We will direct any friends visiting Bath to yourself. Good luck with growing your audience - you are fabulous!"  Aw, thanks guys!!
