I am Esther Reig, a tourist guide in love with my town. After years in different cities and countries, I decided return to my origins and set out to make Pals known, escaping from big guided tours, to offer a close, intimate and familiar way. My passion for Pals has led me to immerse myself in its history, I know every stone, every hidden detail. On our route I will guide you to the Middle Ages through the traces in the stones that reveal the craft professions of its ancient inhabitants. I will show you the hidden towers of the wall. We will enter the town through the portico of the Plaça Major , we will wander around discovering nooks and crannies and details hidden in the beauty of the surroundings, we will see the anthropomorphic Visigoth tombs , we will visit the church of Sant Pere and I will discover its architectural evolution as well as its war wounds. In the Tower of the Hores we will get to know its different communal uses and, if we coincide with the opening hours, we will enjoy its spectacular views and then go outside the walls to the El Pedró viewpoint , dedicated to the famous Empordà writer Josep Pla. We will descend following the wall , in a pleasant walk through its history.
