Get to know Ponta Delgada while walking and talking. A way to take a look around town with some added historical and cultural context. Learn about how an island that was a laurel jungle became a gem in the Atlantic, how an insect and a fungus wiped out what made the locals rich, and other cool stuff you'd need to go to the library for to know. We start in front of the city gates and walk around the historical centre of the town, along the way we'll visit Sr. Santo Cristo, pass by some 'orange palaces' and finish either at the farmers' market or at a quaint church with a panoramic view.
