Free Spirit Split: Free Tour with a Local Guide

This 1.5-hour walking tour covers the UNESCO-listed Diocletian's Palace and the medieval centre of Split, including the Golden Gate, Peristyle Square, Jupiter's Temple, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, People's Square and the Riva promenade. All tours are led by certified local guides with 500+ tours of experience.

Beyond the history, your guide will also give you practical insider tips on where to go, what to see, where to eat and how to make the most of your time in Split. 

Audio sets are mandatory on this tour. The cost is €2 per person, payable at the meeting point. Please bring change. We use audio sets on every tour to ensure the best possible experience inside the Diocletian's Palace.

Free tours do not have a fixed price. At the end of the tour, each guest tips the guide the amount they consider appropriate, typically between €10 and €50.

Please note: walking in a bikini or shirtless is not permitted in the historical centre. Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
