Free Tour of the Nasrid Alhambra
Tour description
If you've missed out on a ticket to the Alhambra or you'd like to see some free areas and have an official guide explain them to you... This is the tour for you!
On this tour, you'll learn about the history of the conquest of Granada and the Alhambra.
The first explanation of the tour will be at the monumental Gate of Justice, laden with Arab and Christian symbols and one of the most important gates.
Next, we will explain from the outside the first building of the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, with its history and traditions, as well as the elegant Renaissance palace of Charles V, where we can enter free of charge and visit the Alhambra Museum (except on Mondays).
Other highlights of the visit will be the Arab baths, the church of Santa María (possibility of seeing it inside) or the Parador de San Francisco, full of history that not many Granadinos know about!
With this tour, you can start "whet your appetite" and learn about the most important aspects of the Alhambra's history right away.
Important:
-Come to the tour with comfortable shoes.
-Children do not need to reserve.
- A financial contribution is expected at the end of the tour to recognize the guide's work and allow us to continue operating these routes.
At the end of the tour, I recommend good places to eat, as well as places to try the best tapas, and I advise you on the best museums, whether free or not, as well as charming places to explore without paying a ticket.
