Free Tour of the Nasrid Alhambra
Tour description
If you have no entry to the Alhambra or you want to see some free areas and have an official guide explain them to you...This is your tour!
On this tour you will learn about the history of the conquest of Granada and the Alhambra.
The first explanation of the tour will be at the monumental Gate of Justice, loaded with Arab and Christian symbols and one of the most important gates.
Next, we will explain from the outside the first construction of the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, with its history and traditions, as well as the elegant Renaissance palace of Charles V, where we can enter for free and we can visit the Alhambra museum (except on Mondays).
Other points of interest include the Arab baths, the church of Sta María (with the possibility of seeing it inside) or the Parador de San Francisco, full of history that not even many people from Granada know about!
With this tour you can start "getting started" and learn about the most important aspects of the history of the Alhambra.
Important:
-Come to the tour with comfortable shoes.
-Children do not need to book.
- A financial contribution is expected at the end of the tour to assess the guide's work and to be able to continue carrying out these routes.
At the end of the tour I recommend good places to eat, also to taste the best tapas and I advise you on seeing the best museums, whether free or not, as well as charming places to contemplate without paying a ticket.
