Indre was a history book! Lots of details and information. By her own admission, a bit too much focus on churches.

Stride through history: discovering Vilnius on foot

I really enjoyed this morning’s walking tour with Vilnius Free Walking Tours. Our guide, Violeta, was excellent — she was very knowledgeable and explained the history and culture of Vilnius in a clear and engaging way. It was a great way to explore the city, see the main sights and learn more about Vilnius from a local perspective. Violeta was friendly, approachable and happy to answer questions throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Vilnius, especially if it’s your first time in the city. A great experience and a very enjoyable morning!

Indre was fantastic. She clearly knows the city and history and isn't shy of sharing her love of all things Baroque. The tour covers the main tourist highlights but without feeling like you're just "ticking boxes"

Vilnius: Old Town Walking Tour with Local Guide & Lithuanian Chocolate Treat

Whenever I visit a new city for the first time, I try to go on a free walking tour. The tours are generally useful for understanding a city, but I only leave a review when I think the guide was unusually good, as I think Indre was. She is very intelligent and affable, receptive to questions, and I found the tour extremely interesting. Vilnius is a fascinating place. The 2.5 hours flew by, and I would have been happy if the tour had lasted even longer. Highly recommended!
