Hello dear travelers, my name is Mohamed and I work as a tourist guide for the ministry of tourism of Morocco, and I started doing free tours 3 years ago. My academic and professional background have been characterized by communication and cultural exchanges. I had the privilege to share my own culture to many people around the worlds either on my university life or in my previous jobs. Tourism plays a key role in our daily life. I was keen on assisting many team building activities and guided tours that were touristic oriented; their main goal was to make tourists discover the preliminaries of Moroccan culture and heritage. Since my young age I was fascinated by discovering other cultures and to interact with many people around the world. l assure you that every part of my city hide many stories to tell and secrets to unveil. The main objective of this tour is making you discover the main spots of the Medina of Marrakesh, while giving you details about the moroccan culture and how moroccans p ople live on a daily basis. Our walking tour will start nearby Koutoubia Mosque, then we will head toward Kasbah of Marrakesh which main entrance is Bab Agnaou. On the way to Kasbah ,we will stop by the royal palace of our current king ,where I will give you information concerning the royal family. I will show also you some monuments on the way that you can visit later on. We will drop by a famous cooperative where we will be provided with important information related to traditional pharmacy and usage of different herbs of medication purposes. PS buying is not compulsory and nobody will oblige you to buy :)After that we will go to the Jewish Quater where jews and muslims were living door to door in a perfect harmony. We will pass by Bahia Palace, one of the most magnificent palaces of Morocco, and you will be free to decide if you want to book and entrance ticket or not . The tour will be always tailored to your needs and choices. Finally, we will head towards Jemaa Fena square and give you hints and recommendations about good spots in the Medina .PS . I can give tours in 2 languages english and french.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
