I am Michael Shen, and I was born in Shanghai where I finished my college, but I grew up in Hangzhou. My major is in public management and I have learned English as my 2nd language. Tour description

Whether you are a first-time visitor or resident in Hangzhou", the most splendid and elegant city in the world" described by Marco Polo in his famous book about 700 years ago, the Westlake will attract you to enjoy the sights.

You will enjoy the landscape of Westlake walking along the Bai Causeway, the Royal Palace's archaeological discovery, you will listen to legends and fairly stories, and you will experience typical and local Chinese history, culture, art, architecture and much more. All of these will give you the answer of why Hangzhou is the "heaven of the earth".

The tour starts from the place of former Buddha Temple and Lakeview pavilion, then we will hike along Bai Causeway and enter the Moonview place. During the tour, we will visit some interesting and historic places, including museums, the Temporary Royal Palace and the Library. The tour will be finish at Yue Temple or Zhejiang Museum.
