Valencia Free Tour: History and Old Town in Spanish
Tour description
This free tour is a tour of the old town where we will see the most important monuments and I will also tell you the history of the city .
First, we will see and get to know the Torres Serrano, it is the north gate of the city and the most important. We go down to go to the old town, where we go to the Arab Wall, then to the Tower of San Bartolomé and finally to the Palace of the Generalitat Valenciana, where the government of the Valencian Community is located.
We continue our journey towards the Plaza de la Virgen , where we will see the Cathedral of Valencia (I will tell you some secrets of this place) and the Basilica of the Virgen de los Desamparados.
Later, we will visit the Parish of San Nicolás , where you will get to know this beautiful parish from the outside. We will continue our tour to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Lonja de la Seda, where I will also tell you anecdotes and legends. You will have the opportunity to discover two things that are secret and that you will only know when you come. Of all the monuments I will talk about the history (mainly) and architecture (you will have a general knowledge of both) and everything can be seen from the outside.
This is a free tour, a free tour is a tour based on tips where at the end of the tour you give as you like. Also to give you an idea, between taxes, maintenance of the company and inflation, it comes to 5-7 euros per person, so if you give us that, it's like working for free for us and it leads us to closure. In order to continue working, if you like the tour, the tip must be at least between 10-12 euros for each adult and between 5-7 euros for each child (3-12 years old) and from then on whatever you want . Thank you for understanding and appreciating the work of the guides.
