Essential Free Tour of the Medina and its Guilds

Have you just arrived in Marrakech and are looking for someone to help you get oriented, show you the most authentic and curious corners of the city, and bring you closer to its history and culture? This tour is ideal for discovering the essence of Marrakech with an official, passionate, and knowledgeable guide.

We will meet next to the white dome, near the Koutoubia tower and just a few steps from Jemaa el-Fna square, the heart of Marrakech. Our goal is to show not only the most emblematic places of the Medina but also its most hidden corners.

We will start the tour at Jemaa el-Fna square to discover the Koutoubia tower, the most emblematic monument of the city. Then we will head to the Kasbah, the ancient imperial city, and continue towards the Ksour neighborhood and the "Seven Curves" area, one of the oldest in the Medina, with its narrow, lively streets.

We will continue to the Mouassine neighborhood, known for its traditional hammam and wood-fired oven, before delving into the most picturesque part of the souks: dyers, blacksmiths, copper, leather, carpets, and spices. During the tour, you will also receive useful tips for navigating the Medina and recommendations on the art of bargaining.

After an intense and contrast-filled visit, we will end where we started, at Jemaa el-Fna square, with recommendations and practical tips to better enjoy the city.

• This visit includes a commercial stop at the end of the tour at an herbalist's shop. It is an optional stop, lasting approximately 20–25 minutes. Those travelers who do not wish to participate can end the visit at that point.
