Tour description
This tip-based, Spanish-language tour will reveal the great secrets of St. Peter's Square and Castel Sant'Angelo.
The group will have around 15 participants , so that we can enjoy a more personalized experience. Discover the enigmas of the Vatican and explore its surroundings!
We will cross the Sant'Angelo Bridge , covered in travertine marble, and admire the statues of the ten angels that narrate the Passion of Christ; we will stop at the Sant'Angelo Castle ; we will walk along Via della Conciliazione , from where we will have one of the best views of the Vatican ; we will pass under the Passeto di Borgo , the secret passageway that saved the Borgias and the Medici; we will look out at the tower of the controversial Vatican Bank . We will conclude in the wing of the "Charlemagne Arm" (Vatican), guarded by the Swiss Guard , after crossing St. Peter's Square and appreciating its Egyptian obelisk and its monumental fountains.
