Tour description
In our tour through the cobbled streets of this walled city we will visit: the Old University, current Institute of the Holy Trinity (this interior is free and if it is open we will visit the Paraninfo and the classroom where Antonio Machado taught) We will see the Palace of Jabalquinto , the Church of Santa Cruz , the only Romanesque building that remains in Baeza (these two interiors are free and if they are open they are included in the visit)
We will also visit the most emblematic square of Baeza, responsible for the recognition of the city as a World Heritage Site, where the Santa Iglesia Catedral , the San Felipe de Neri Seminary , the High Town Hall and the Santa María Fountain are located.
We will go through the stone of wishes and the stone of hell and we will tell their respective legends.
Finally, we will go to the viewpoints on the Paseo de las Murallas , Antonio Machado's place of inspiration for his poems and where you can appreciate wonderful views of the "sea of olive trees" , the Guadalquivir valley , the Sierras de Segura and Cazorla, and the natural park of Sierra Mágina.
